Fuerteventura, Spain

In February 2025, I spent time on Fuerteventura, one of Spain’s Canary Islands, combining a bit of work, vacation, and a road biking adventure. We rented bikes and explored the island’s wide open roads—riding through volcanic landscapes, small villages, and along the rugged coastline with the Atlantic always in view. In between rides, we soaked up the sun at the beach, and some of my friends jumped into surf sessions while I wandered with my camera, drawn to the contrast between the black lava hills, golden sand dunes, and deep blue ocean. It was a perfect mix of movement, rest, and visual inspiration—exactly what a February escape should be.
